Local Artist: Casey Lewis

In a digital era, Casey Lewis prefers an old-school approach to photography. The Bolinas, California native uses a 90’s Rebel film camera, and prefers printing her photos in a traditional dark room. Currently living in Laguna Beach, CA, and attending UC Irvine as a full-time student, Casey hopes to travel to Germany, Spain, and Africa to teachthe native children English; documenting her time there with pictures.  While Casey maybe currently chasing inspiration afar, she says there is nothing more inspiring than Marin’s natural beauty and the community of supportive people that inhabit it.
